ARCserve Backup Client Agent for Windows

Having a problem with a Client Agent.

Multiple servers are backing up via Client Agents to a central ARCserve server. In addition one server also has Exchange Agent, another SQL Agent and another Open File Agent.

Everything is backing up fine, except the one server that has the combo of Client & Open File Agents. This part of the job completes successfully in the log, yet no data is actually backed up. Log entry is as follows:

Approximately 88,896 file(s) 7,656.24 MB will be processed.

followed by

0 file(s) 1 KB sent by agent @ 3 KB/min.

So the data in seen, but not transferred.

If the files are backup as via network share rather than the agent, there is no problem, but obviously we cannot backup system state that way.

Any ideas?

All sorted now. System was r11.0 which has now been upgraded to r11.1 sp1 for which there is a Windows Server 2003 sp1 fix.
