ARCserve 6.5 + HP C1557A Autoloader

Hello

My company uses ARCserve 6.5 and an HP C1557A autolader DDs3. However, i dont know how to manage that arcserve uses different tapes of the autolader. can anybody tell me how i make him use different slots for different backups. do i need to install seperate drivers?

no drivers, you don't manage the different tapes, ARCserve will. It will know which tape is in which slot and use the correct one.

Well, thats what i tried first, but i only see the currently mounted tape. If i cycle manually through the tapes arcserve recognized all tapes but it doesnt show me all slots at once at server manager. Is there a feature i have to install to make arcserve recognice and use autoloader? And does Win NT must have installed 2 devices, the streamer and the loader, cause NT only shows the streamer as installed.

With 6.5 you need to use the tape library option.
