ArcServe 2000 store location job-LOGs

Hello,
could anyone tell me how i can change the path for job log files? It is set to "C:\programme\computerassociates\arcserve\LOG", so every day a new 10MB file is added to that directory. I now want to change that path to drive D"...&quot. But i can't find out how to do. I tried modifying the registry entry (HKLM\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\ArcServeIT\Base\Path - LOG) but i didn't help.

I am using Arcserve 9.0 without any patch I have also tried to change the path to d:\LOG and I have created the the LOG in d: but still Arecserve refering to the path
C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\LOG

I have't tried to reboot the machine I will tried it later.

Try to reboot the machine and run a test backup and check if the new path get changed.

It didn't work for me still the logs in old path
in the new folder path I got only one file it call embksrv.log and the content are :
18:34:35 Start Emergency Backup [Server Mode]; Start date: 8/22/2003
18:34:35 Failed to OpenIPXSocket RC=10047.
18:34:35 Listen socket 1 failed RC=10038.

but the backup is working fine and the logs still show the correct log in old path

As far as I know it can not be changed.

However check the backup configuration under Option/Log.
Is Log All Activity checked?
If it is then use Log Summary Only.
