I am having difficulty restoring a single file. We are able to use 'restore by tree' however when we use query restore etc.. it seems to restore the entire tree. Any suggestions welcome.

When we restore, we restore by session, brows to the server, then to the directory where the file is stored, then on right side of the window I choose the individual files I wish to restore.
Hope this helps

Agree 2D's solution, You can restore files by session. Select the correct backup days session and browse it until you find the file that will be restored. then you can submit this restore job by input your backupadmin username and password and restore session password. Then the restore job will be active.
Wait until the restore finished.and check if it is right.

Good luck. Peter
