ARCServe 2000 - media pool not working

Hello,

I'm using ARCServe 2000 7.0 and the media pool does not seem to be functioning. I have 4 daily tapes (M - Thu) and after each week starting on Monday, I need to move the previous weeks' Monday tape from the save set to the scratch set. Then so on and so forth for the remaining days during the week.

I have applied the latest service pack along with all the updates, but still no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is your retention time setting 6 days? What about Min.# of Media in Save Set?

Retention time = 5 days
Min # of Media = 3
Current # of Media = 4

either database corruption or update

Anyone have any ideas on this? I've already tried reinstalling SP5, but no luck. Also tried reinitializing database and recreating new job but media pool still does not work.
