ArcServe 2000 Keeps Crashing

Hello,
I have an Arcserve 2000 backup that keeps crashing towards the end of the job. In the Job Stsaus windows there is an E in a red circle the under Last Result it says "Crashed". There are no errors in the Activity Log.
Any ideas?

Apply service pack 5. There are some crash fixes in it that may help.

I have this problem on my ARCserve 2000 with SP5. And finally I must start crashed jobs manually - every day for daily backup!

Please, help!

I am having the same problem with my Brightstor V.9. The job will crash for no real reason. I see some errors connecting to databases but if I start the job manually it will run fine. VERY frustrating.
