Arcserve 12 sp1 Exch agent

Hi, I have Arcserve 12 sp1 running (on dedicated server) and have installed the exchange agent. I am having problems performing a document level backup (havent even reached the restore yet!)

Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction... The log gives the following errors:

File estimation is disabled

+ another file that has the following:

Exception Cause : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (attempting to read)
Exception Flags : Noncontinuable exception

I have checked the permissions of the user, and it is a domain admin, backup operator, local admin, and has Exchange Full Admin on the exch server (2003).


Has anyone else seen this?

just an edit.... the exch agent is installed on the exch server. Not the Arcserve server

As a test create a new user and try using that for the security.

Hi, thx for the reply, I tried creating a new user along with all the permissions, but this returned the same results.


I may just return to it when r13 comes out.....
