I've updated V11 to V11.1

Now if a scheduled job starts the server unexpected reboots.

On the server screen shows the following message:

The system proces
c:\winnt\system32\services.exe
Terminated unexpectedly with status code 128.
The system will now shutdown and restart.

After 60 seconds the server reboots.

server specification:
Fujitsu-siemens Primergy server
OS: Win2K Server
Backup: HP Surestore Dat 40

I've already reinstalled arcserve but that does not help.

Can anybody help me???

Ouch

Hmmmm does the device get shared with any other devices on the server? Are the Win 2K drivers disabled in device manager?

Looks like whenever brightstor attempts to send info down the SCSI bus there is an issue.

What device are you hanging the DAT drive off of? Model of scsi etc..?

You may also want to try the following patch first.

APAR #: QO59767 DATE: 15 SEP 2004

It's on the esupport.ca.com web site as a download for AS 11.1.

Let us know how you go,

Cheers,

Also, please note that the original 11.1 patch was pulled. Make sure you apply the new 11.1 patch. It's QO60378.CAZ.
Not sure why this happened to you after the upgrade.
Have you tried going into Device Configuration and removing/reentering your drive?. Since it certainly sounds device-related, try applying the latest device support update patch.

Thanks for all the reactions. I will try it out!!

I will let you all know.
