Hi all,

Last night, my exchange backup failed with this error:
Backup Agent error -- (91) "Product grace period expired"

Huh ??? This backup is running without interruption since at least the last four years !! What happened ?

Nothing has changed on the exchange server lately...
After some research here and in Google, I tried to:
- re-enter the license key using Calicnse.exe, as suggested in another post on this forum. It says this license has already been used.
- Rename the ca.olf file and re-enter the license number, same result.
- Restart the services. Niet.

I'm running arcserve 11.1 sp2 (build 3200), with the standard exchange agent on server 2003 and exchange 2003.

Could it be possible that an exchange agent license expire after ,say, 5 years ?

Does somebody has ever gone through this ?

thanks

Ok at the end of the day, I found another thread in which it was suggested to remove the registry key for the agent license and re-enter the license key.
I tried that and it worked ! My backup ran fine last night, so case closed.
