Archiving - Some E-Mails not Deleting 1

Archiving : It Selects, Copies, and then Deletes the e-mails. I noticed that a few e-mails copy over to the archive, but stay in the regular mail file. This only happens with a very few, but I am not sure why Notes retains those chosen few to remain in the regular file.

It because the mail is part of a mailthread where the rest of the mails aren't marked for archiving.
If you wanna archive them, mark all the mails in the thread to be archived.

Are these email documents or just things like meeting invites, responses to meeting invites, that sort of thing?

Thank you very much for your response. I was on vacation until today, and couldn't read your comments.
I will check on the mailthreads. Does it mean that the e-mails are all connected with responses?
