Archiving in Lotus Notes 6.5

We have moved our clients from Notes 5.11 to 6.5 but our server is still on 5.0.5

In 5.11 version, we used to archive via the option Archive-->Selected documents (we unchecked the "do not delete documents that have responses") from the acrhive settings. By doing that the message is deleted from the database after it is archived.

Now in version 6.5, we use the same options, but the mail is not deleted from the database, however it is properly archived.

I need help in configuring version 6.5 so that the selected mails are deleted from the mail database after they are archived

There is an option in the 6.5 client that says do not delete documents that have responses. DISABLE this option.

I have tried it as in version 5.11 this option was there and when we un-checked that it worked, but not in this version (6.5)
