We have a Inbox set-up for communication between Client related correspondence. We have various folders / files set up to control the administration of this mail box. We now have a situation whereby the mailbox is over its size limit & information held too fresh to archive. We cannot move these into personal folders as this would prevent all relevant personnel accessing necessary data. Is there an alternative suggestion / procedure we could apply to control / avoid this from occurring. Your advice would be most appreciated.

Hm, if the mailbox is over the limited size, but you need to keep it in there, your only option really is to increase the storage limits.

I would like to know how to archive my email in Outlook Express. I have a lot of folders and daily emails. Also, when you archive , do you have access to the emails easily? I'm afraid I don't understand at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, archiving is a function within Outlook, not Outlook Express.

I guess what I want to know is how to save (or backup) all those files and emails and still have easy access to them. If I back them up, will my folder titles remain in OE and will I be able to access them? Thanks.

Mickeyencube:
I guess from your post is the .pst file is reaching the 2GB size limit or are u referring to out of space in your hard drive.

Lantarose123: OE stores email as .dbx files in your computer. Search for *.dbx files in your PC and backup them wherever you want.

Once you backup all your dbx files yopu will be able to open them anywhere else and maintain all the folder structure.
