AR Sales Tax Report by Posting Date

i'm looking for a way to get the AR Sales Tax Report to run by posting date rather than transaction date, but i don't see any way to link the GL and AR files.

has anyone done this before, or have any advice?

What Dawn is not telling you is that the posting date is the transaction date. There is no difference as they are one and the same. Posting is a transaction.

the more eyes, the better

as far as posting being the same as transaction, i must be doing something wrong then. because when i sort the AR tax detail report by transaction date, it doesnt total out the same as the GL register by posting date.

i've been pulled off this job anyway. i may or may not have time to revisit in the future. other pressing matters abound.
