AppServer R12.0 NIC info

I am trying to install a new instance of App server R12 and when I go to the webpage :7071 settings/system I see no NIC info for the App server. When I click on the network interface dropdown it does not show eth0 as an option. I know that it was there before as I was about to set up the system and the VM pro. Anyone seen this before?

login to the App server by concol or putty and check the network interfaces by " ifconfig " command and " ifconfig eth0 up "command.
restart the network service and restart the server.

Already restarted the server no change. I can log into the server with Putty and see the interface but can't see it in the webpage to make a change to the IP address.
