Applying Computer Settings

I have a windows 2003 server which is stuck on applying computer settings. Also I can not print from any of my computers.

try safe mode, then reapply the setup security template

We have exactly the same problem on two servers (Dell PowerEdge 2600). We haven't experienced it on other servers than the Dell 2600's. Is that the same with your situation ronhem?

We think that this situation may be caused by security updates which where applied earlier this week.

Are you running any APC software? If you are running APC Powerchute 6.x, go to safe mode and remove it. You can upgrade to 7.x to fix the problem
