Hi, I'm having a problem with one user who can login to Nfuse but when she clicks on any published app nothing happens after the connecting window disappears.

All other users are working fine at other sites and even at this user's site and network segment. Her machine is configured the same as the others.

Are there any system logs I can look at?

We are using Metaframe XP v1 fr 2 and Active directory for authentication.

Thanks, Victor...

If you right click on a published app, save to disk, and open it with notepad. Is it filled with the correct ip?
Have you tried reinstalling the client?
Is the client win2k or XP? If so, is the user a local admin?
Is anything written to the eventvieuwer?

Free citrixprinting support

Try deleting their user folder created on the citrix server under documents and settings. I had that problem before and deleting it fixed the problem

I'll bet they are not even connecting to the server. First, empty the IE cache, if that does not do it reinstall the client.
While you are in IE, if they have a high speed connection set the cache to a really small (20mb) size.

Hi,

Can you log in as the local admin and then get her to log into NFuse and then try accessing the application, does it work?

If the answer is yes, log out, log in as the user and try NFuse again, does it work? If it does, it's fixed!

Cheers,
Carl.

I tried all the above but nothing worked. I was finally able to solve the issue by deleting the MSLicensing registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing

Thanks to all for responding,

Victor...

That is only a temporary solution and will reoccur every ninety days. This is due to the fact you have run out of TS licenses. NOT Citrix licenses, Terminal Server Client licenses. Either get more or upgrade the PC's to 2000 or XP.

I have added several users after this one without a problem. This one user has been the only problem. She is on 2000.

Hmm.. maybe it was just corrupted.

Whatever the reason the one user couldn't get in, I did check and found out we were ALL on Temporary licenses, so we fixed that. All the users will start transitioning over to permanent licenses from what I understand.

Again thanks to all for responding...
