That is not what I really want. I have a DLL that I would like to distribute to my customers. So if i want to make it in such a way that when customers put in the CD and run the setup, it will register the DLL automatically. I am a clever newbie...
If you have a DLL as part of a project, and use P & D W then your DLL will be registered as part of the installation process Let me know if this helps

If the DLL itself is the project to be installed by the P&DW, then it will be registered and installed without a start up folder. Have you tried this out? also if you want to update projects using new dll's then there are a few more steps to take into consideration.
