Application Server Upgrade R10.1 to R11.1 Questions 2

Hello all,

I am doing an Application Server Upgrade From R10.1 to R11.1

I have spun up another Application Server and backed up the primary to it.

Documentation indicates updating from R10.1 to R11.0.4.5

The documentation indicates to preform this update "using the standard ISO transfer methods" - Its been awhile since I have done one so I forgot the "Standard ISO transfer methods".

Just want to confirm this is the correct spot to do so:

Ok so it finally upgraded to R11.1 however I wants me to go thru the whole ignition process again - looks like it did a fresh install. Cool.

Is it because the new disk "ABE-11.1.100-95-upgradedisk.vmdk" does not appear to be mounted?

Any idea why it is doing a R11.1 Fresh Install using the above method rather than doing the upgrade?
