Application hangs when trying to open Job protocol

Since having installed Service Pack 4 for Backup Exec 9.1 I#m not able to open any job protocol anymore, no matter if it's a running job or a finished job.
The application freezes and I have to shut it down via Taskmanager.
Anyone having experienced the same issue ? Is there a work-around. Do I have to remove the Service Pack or re-install it ?

I had a similar problem with service backup 4, and it was resolved after uninstalling service pack 4. May be it may work for you, too.

I don't know why, but it works properly again. Haven't changed a single thing. Service pack 4 is still installed. After a couple of days everything went fine again. Kind of confusing to me.
