Application Folder

When packaging a VB app can you specify the target app folder.

Presently this defaults to c:\program files\app

I need to install to:

C:\app

Bill:

Yes, that is easily done by the Packaging and Deployment Wizard. When you get to the 'Install Locations' screen, the rightmost column will be the location where the app is to reside. Change it there, and it will install to that path.

If only it were that easy.

You can only add subfolder to the $(AppPath) names here.

$(AppPath) is the path assigned at deployment time.

I guess it is just Bill (the other one) playing God again and deciding that all programs go in folder c:\Program Files.
