Application Event Log Warning

We keep getting a warning in our Win 2000 Server Appication Event Log, as follows:

Source: WinMgmt
Event ID: 47

Description:

"WMI ADAP was unable to retrieve data from the PerfLib subkey: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Performance\Library, error code 0x80041009"

This message keeps coming every 1 to 2 minutes.
We did have Terminal Services installed but removed it when our Informix application started acting up.

This message has been occuring ever since removing Terminal Services Application Server mode, and we are still having problems with the Informix application.

My questions are:

Is there a way I can stop this warning, or stop the Service that may be causing it?

Do you think I should re-install my Informix application?

Some googling leads me to believe you need to reinstall the MDAC on your server.

How would you recommend I do this:

1. Re-install from my original WIndows 2000 Server CD and if so please advise procedure, or
2. Download from Microsoft's Download Site & install?

You will want to downlaod and install from the Microsoft Site. The MDAC gets updated fairly frequently.
