Application error

I have Compaq Persarios in my computer lab, 233 mhz pentium with 32M ram. I have been running Adobe PageMaker 6.5 on NT workstations for a year and half with no problems. This past week two of my computers cannot execute Pagemaker. When I try to execute an application error occurs and an application error log is generated. PM65.exe Exception in page io error [Oxc0000006], Address: 0x63001222. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the software but same error came up. I scanned the drive for viruses but none surfaced. The other computer, when PageMaker is executed, shows rows of numbers. Can you give me advice on how to fix it or what is the error?<br>

Using windows 98? We haven't had any problems until we switched over to Compaqs & it's been crash and burn city all the time. I've been checking with other PC-user firms in our area and found one that installed Windows98, 2nd edition & hasn't had a problem since. We haven't tried it at our site yet, though, but I've ordered it for the Compaq my firm gave me so I could work at home some days instead of coming into the office. We'll see...
