I've got a query that has caused me some serious grief recently and whilst checking through the BCM Application DN's it looks as if most of them have Line Pool "A" assigned. My question is in two parts.

Is this common or manufacturer practice to have a line pool assigned to a Application DN and the second question is what implications does or can it cause if it's there or has been removed.

Having looked at other BCM systems, it seems that it's there by default.

As far as I know the BCM product line had pretty much everything default using Pool A.
It should not effect anything if you remove it as long as Pool A is not needed.

Thanks for the quick reply back Hawks.

Your reply back was what I was expecting and I think I've found a major hole when VOIP trunks are used with an Internet provider and that you have trunks with line pool A assigned.

I've now removed all line pool and target line assignment from all of my Application DN's.
