We are currently using Novell's ZenWorks and are looking for a MS-based replacement. SMS is overkill for us and ZenWorks requires too many Novell components. I like the idea of creating apps and associating them with users and groups along with specifying settings such as force run and run once... and being able to unassociate them. What we are looking for in a replacement is a system that can do similar things using existing AD groups (We currently use Win2003 servers) AND is able to give us reports of successful and unsuccessful pushes and deployments. We have about 80 users. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Try Unicenter TNG, SDO(Software Delivery Option) works well in our environment. Initial cost is high but less than SMS.
