Application cannot be opened in AppBuilder

Hello,

Recently we had issues with our Call Pilot and since then I am unable to open one of our Applications to modify it. All other applications on the server seem to be working fine. When i try to open the App it says "The system could not load the application from the server. Please check the connection to the server and try again."

I know my server connection is fine because as I mentioned I can open other applications fine. The application appears to be working because calls are processing through it.

Has anyone seen this before? Any recommendations. I'm figuring I have to just re-build it, but it's the biggest application and I'm dreading having to rebuild it.

I have had a simillar problem with a single app (of course then biggest one we have). The maintenance engineer eventually got it back by shutting all our symposium and call pilot servers down and restarting them in the certain order. Sorry I don't know which was first. I hope this helps.
 
I had a problem like this. We have a compression tool installed between my site and the callpilot location and it interfears with the application builder.
If you don't have one of these type devices in the way I'm not sure what is happening.

Our solution was to take compression off the VLAN the Callpilot was on and it worked fine until they have a patch for those boxes that work with the app builder.

It is odd since you can reach the callpilot fine but the app builder has issues.
 
you don't have to rebuild the application. Go into CPMGR and archive that 1 application to tape, and restore it with a new name and ID. Or get your vendor to go into support tool and re-populate the application link in the db.
