I have a day menu with options 1-9 to different departments that works fine. But if i want to dial an extention , lets say 6xxx when i'm in the menu I get a message saying I cannot dial this extention its restricted. Where do I need to look to enable me to dial ectentions when im in the menu.

What you need to do is create a option for dial by extension, and point that option to a thru dialer.

I have done what you suggested already. Can anyone give another suggestion.

is 6XXX in your Restriction Permissions List to allow for onswitch dialing?

Check there.

did you left pad your thru dial so all the caller has to do is disl the 6XXX extension.

Ok got it, the left pad digit lenght were set wrong.
