I have a Call Pilot 201i with version 04.04.04 Software.
I have App Builder 4.4.4.5 whis is the latest I know of which is part of patch CP404S03G02A. This was working fine about three weeks ago. A week ago I was wanting to build a new Menu, but could not get into it again. ( Could not connect to AOS server). I reinstalled over and over to no avail. When I check edit system on the address, the address verifies. I can ping the address to the Call Pilot Server all day long.I tried my lap top, same thing I tried another computer that has this installed, same thing. I am wondering if some updates to our computers would cause this .

Any help would sure be Appreciated! Thanks!
 
The only time that I get that message is when I try to open APP BUILDER from the Web Browser screen. Try it by going to PROGRAMS and find Call Pilot Application Builder and click on that, then input your User ID ,Password and IP Address

Thanks Perry That is the way I do it I have never opened it from the web browser.
 
Don,

Log onto the callpilot server itself. Go to (d:/nortel/file tranfer) If you have any files in that directory remove them. I would just copy and paste them into a another directory that you would create. Once that is done try launching app builder again. It should take care of your issue.

can you ping the callpilot server by name? if not try adding it to the host table on your computer or into the dns server. You must be able to communicate via computer name for app builder to work
