Hi all;

We have an application that is currently running as an exe on a W2K server. The decision has been made to have this run as a Service. What do I need to do to make this happen.

Thanks

If you are saying as an NT service, I don't think VFP can build a 'service'. You could modify your app to become a com server that would run on startup. If this is doable, the main thing to keep in mind is there can be no screen i/o like WAIT WINDOW, MESSAGEBOX() etc., in your app. Since it is effectively running internally, there is no one to respond to i/o so it just hangs.
