Hi,

I have a Mac w/ OS 9.2.1. Recently the computer "freezes" on startup--churns through, opens the desktop, but it is unresponsive after that. When I turn the AppleShare extension off, everything works normally, except of course AppleShare, which I need to work!

Any ideas/thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Delete your "Appleshare prep" preference. Delete anything in the "servers" folder in the system folder. You will have to go back and recreate any automatic drive mountings you had going on before this though. Remember, you're unique... just like everyone else.

thanks, jasen. the "server folder" entries--20 or so leftover from various network connections---were the culprit.
