Apache status code 200

In the access_log I get something like HTTP/1.1" 200 470. I know what the 200 is for. What is the significance of the 470?

probably bytes out,but like sleipnir214 said check your log format to be sure

httpd.conf says:

CustomLog /usr/local/apache/logs/access_log common

Haven't a clue what all that means. Will research it more. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
