Apache/1.3.20 Server at engdb3.tlv.cig.mot.com Port 80

does someone knows what it means and what can i do to solve it?

Hi,

That would be very odd if its a 'vanilla' install of apache. Presumably you can get the test page up on the redhat box itself with
Maybe this is just the effect of the firewall on the redhat box. Did you allow inbound port 80 ? By default, redhat 7.x runs the ipchains based 'lokkit' firewall and its probable that you are running that and (unbeknowingly) blocking port 80.

To configure, as root do :

# /usr/sbin/lokkit

... then follow the screens. You can either allow inbound http (port 80) or you could set the lan interface as 'trusted' which would just be for internal access. See also --> .

If its not the firewall - have you changed anything with apache or is it a default redhat rpm install ?

Hope this helps
