Apache HTTP server & SSL

Have anyone ever worked this complex configuration.

Till today ( AHHHh after 5 days of work) i am able to
install & apache webserver on aix .
Configure and run admin server
Configure and run virtual server.
For SSL to work with Apache , i followed the instructions
but when i enable SSL on virtual server, the main site remain to work ok ( as global not have SSL enabled ) however
the

http://<servername>:443

or https:// not work on web browser ( netscape) not work .
The error appears saying:
Network Error, I/O error.
An error occured while netscape receiving data.

Another main question is that from where i can get certificates to put in key file name field ( admin server configurtion for SSL enabling)
Please help me

hi ,

are there any firewalls in place , if so do you encrypt traffic on normal port or a specific port. If a specific port then is that allowed on the firewall ?

Dears,
I have tried from same Pseries machine using netscape web browser ( that excludes any possibility of having firewall
as main source of problem).
Now in the steps which i have followed in past have some
confusion for me.The main confusion which i faced is related to key file which is asked in administration server configuration menus.
which key file here i have to place.How can i generate that key file.
Apache server which i am using have full SSL support and have SSL module loaded.
Any more ideas!!

hi
I have just seen errors in error log of the virtual server
with SSL enabled .
The errors appearing are as follows:

[warn] mod_ibm_ssl: SSL Connection attempted when SSL
did not initialize.
What that mean as i have already loaded SSL module
from admin server!!!
Any ideas
