Can Apache for Windows run a linux CGI script, mainly saying that if i install apache into windows will they be able to use the Chmod?
 
if you are calling chmod via a standard perl call, it should work fine. if you are calling chmod via a direct system call it obviously wont work.
 
I need some help I have a protected directory using .htpasswd for the passwords
I'm using Apache for Windows on a 2000 Machine I the passwords are encypted but when I try to login it wont let me using the password that I made up BUT if I use the encrypted password it works is there someway of Fixing that???I really need this to work
