Hello,

we have installed Tomcat 5.0.28 on a Windows 2000 Server. First it seems working fine, but after a few hours apache.exe uses 99% of cpu. After restarting the service it ist working fine again. Every 3-4 hours it is repeating. Has anyone ideas? Thanks for your help!

perhaps you should ask this in the apache forum if the problem is to do with apache ...

When reposting there, you might want to provide a little more info aswell - you have not really said anything that people will be able to comment on (usuage trends, netstat dump of connections at lockup time, and prior to, etc etc)

We have seen this also on our HP UNIX system. By turning on the next variable in the httpd.conf file the problem was gone:

EnableSendfile off
