Does anyone know how I can write an asp page that will work on my apache server?

Does anyone even know if you can run ASP pages on an Apache Web Server at all?

Define what you mean by "ASP".

"ASP" is an application framework, not a programming language. Microsoft has implemented an ASP interface for web site development in VBScript -- this is the most common programming language for IIS, as it ships with every IIS installation.

There are two ASP interfaces available for use with Apache: Apache::ASP and Sun Java Active Server Pages 4.0. The former implements a perl interface to ASP and is free. The latter provides VBScript and JavaScript interfaces, but is for-pay.

If you are looking to run VBScript/ASP programming under Apache, you will need the Sun product.
