APACHE Access Problem

I just intalled an Apache serve on my Windows ME system. I can reach my website just fine from my own computer, but not from anywhere else on my local network or from work. My host name

correctly resolves to my ip 68.13.96.41 on my friends computer, but she cannot acces the page either.

I have a USB cable modem to connect to the internet, and my friend connects to the internet through my computer using a crossover cable to an ethernet card I also have in my computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a firewall on the computer? If so, do you have the HTTP port open? If not, what does your configuration look like? Posting your httpd.conf and network setup would really help. //Daniel

I do not have a firewall on my computer. My home LAN setup is a little bit strange since I did not want to spend the money on an ethernet hub. I use SyberGen's Sygate software to allow my friend to connect to the internet through my computer.

As for my network setup:
NDIS 1394 Net Adapter
Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
Toshiba PCX2200 USB Cable Modem (NDIS 5)

These three devices all have TCP/IP protocols defined and nothing else. The only option that has a value is the IP address for the Realtek which is 192.168.0.1 (required for Sybergen) Everything else for the devices is either automatic or disabled.

I forgot to ask what version of Apache you are using.
Anyway, have you tried any other server application (mail/FTP etc.)? That Sygate thing might block connections from the outside. Does it have some kind of configuration tool that you could check in? //Daniel

I'm using Apache 2. I don't have any other server apps right now to try. It could be Sygate that's messing it up. I also have VNC (Virtual Network Computing) installed and it worked fine until I installed Sygate. Now VNC never connects when I try to get on my computer from work.

I temporarily stopped Sygate. Perhaps you could see if my page is accessible now from wherever you are.
