I have a Electra Elite IPK system in the small office we work in and recently aquired an AP(R)-R with power supply to hook up a generic cordless phone to my terminal. It has some DIP switches on it so I'm hesitate to just plug it in and go. DO I need to call our vendor and get them to install it or is it just basically plug and play?

SW 1-1 = do not use
SW 1-2 = the multiline and APR share the same B1 channel
SW 3-1 = sets impediance top 600 ohm
SW 3-2 = used for complex impediance devices such as SLT's.
Make sure you unplug the phone first.

So then I can just unplug the phone line and power, plug in the module, plug power and phone line back in, hook up my cordless phone and I'm good? No need to worry about any of the switches? Thanks for the extra clarification.
