Hi All,

Question. We are thinking of eliminating our overnight receptionist position. We have a Definity G3 with Audix. Can someone point me in the right direction as how to have it automatically answer and give the caller a menu of choices? Hopefully this isn't too extensive for someone to explain. I appreciate any help!

Does the switch have vectoring? If so you have more options, although at night, port usage is not an issue, so you may just as well use Audix. I can send you an implementation example if you email me. You can easily do a combo of dial by name & menu choices with destinations.

We are also thinking of doing pretty much the same thing. i know how to setup the auto attendants to make the auto answer work. But is there a way to have the system page some one over the loud speaker.

Fyi we are a car dealership.

Here is what i would like to see.

Customer calls, presses 1 for new car sales, the phone system would park the call then announce "sales 100" over the loudspeaker. A salesman could then pickup the call.

The extension for paging in this case is 8900.
