I have a couple users that are having trouble accessing their email over the our website using Novell Webaccess 6.0. I have found that all the users having issues are using AOL as their browser. As a solution, I told one of my users to go into Control Panel, internet options, connections, LAN settings, and make sure the proxy server option is unchecked. If it was checked, I told them to uncheck it. This worked for a few days, then it was back to the same error message reading "username and and password are invalid" on the webaccess login screen. I am at my wits end with this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Do or do not, there is no try.

Each time I connect to aol they connect me to Netscape. How can I stop this? AOL does not have an answer. It also happens only when I connect from the keyboard button. I have an Hp with windows xp. I do not have Netscape showing anywhere in my computer. Can you help?
Thank you.

Unfortuneatly, I do not have an answer for this problem. AOL owns Netscape, so when you install AOL from the CD they give you, it automatically installs Netscape. I'm sure there is a way around this, but I wouldn't know it. Try doing a Google search for "AOL tips and tricks". I found a a couple websites out there that show you how to do things AOL wouldn't show you. They may have a solution for you.

NO when u install AOL it DOES NOT install netscape ;it install IE.

contact HP tech support to reconfigure the keyboard button NOT to open netscape.i think u can configure it thru the control panel..if u know how to do it.also try this start->settings->control panel->internet options->connections tab->select never dial a connaction.

better contact hp regarding the keyboard issue!
