Is there a beta version or something for AOL 7.0 that will run in Windows NT? I used to have one for AOL 6.0 on an old computer. Right now AOL 5.0 is the only version that will work for windows nt that I could find. Thanks.

I may be wrong [hate AOL with a passion] but I believe AOL 7 IS natively compatible with NT. No need for a beta.

Hope that helps.

The last time I put AOL 7.0 on an NT platform, it installed 5.0. I'm not sure what the heck was going on with it - I'm not sure 6.0 and above will run on NT. -= Beer is food! Is it suppertime? =-

Sorry, I did some checking.

AOL claims V7 is supported on 95/98/ME/2K and XP
NT is only listed as compatible with V5.

That's pretty strange since XP and 2k are built on the NT kernel.

Just one of the many reasons why I hate AOL.

I think in Version 7.0 of AOL it works for both windows 9X, Windows NT & 2000, and ME. I'm not sure about XP

AOL Tech Support states very plainly that you must use version 5 on NT4 or NT3.n systems.
They claim that later versions of AOL will automatically install version 5 when an NT OS is detected.
