AODN number does not hunt on station keys 4

I having trouble with a AODN that forwards on busy to a STA DN but, on the next incoming call it does not hunt up the keys on that station. Customer reports number just rings and rings but no answer.

Does any one have an idea as how to resolve this.

Your LHK is set to 2, so it will only hunt up to key 2. Is it at least hunting up that far?

If you need it to hunt to Key 5, then change your LHK prompt to 5.
 
Try FBA in the cls, not sure if you need it but LHK set to 5? What is the DN in question here?
 
NoUa, this is not related to your issue, but here is some suggestions for the users CLS that may make them happy.

Give the the following.

IRA - Incoming Ringing Line Preference, they don't have to hit the key.

OLA - Outgoing Line Preference. They will not have to hit a key.

AHA - Automatic Hold. If they are on another line, they can press the next ringing line and it will automatically place the other call on hold.

TDD - It will provide them the caller ID of a second call ringing in.

Just a couple of suggestions to make the user happy!
 
remove fba.. forward busy allow can do strange things and it's only used if forward to 0 is denied in the cdb

with hta and lhk set to 2 if the call is not hunting i would start doing traces to find where it is blocked.. or in my case i would remove the lhk and make key 0 1 and 2 mcr 5555.. then the blocked hunt will not mater

Hi,

A little more information. When a call comes in on prime DN 5555 (AODN from attendent) customer reports that the next caller hears ringing but no ones picks up. Front desk clerk reports that second line doesn't flash or ring, so it seems like the station is not hunting correctly. This only happens when a call is from the attendent on a overflow condition. If you where to call the number direct (sta to sta or DID) hunting feature works. Customer only wants hunting to the second key.

FBA will send all DID calls to to that set to the ATTN if the DID number id busy.
 
use the mcr's, the overflow does not want to follow the hunt.. disable the set, nul keys 0 1 and 2.. then add then back as mcr's... that user will get 3 flashing lights for each call... two ways of doing the same thing..

Fix was programing MCR's on sta that answers calls after hours.
