Just wondering as all of the topics in this forum are Blackberry this and Blackberry that.... We've been using Goodlink for 2 years now and working like a solid champ for about 1/2 the cost of BES.
I just got a new Treo 600 with it and I've added the software to my HP Ipaq and both are running sweet. BES won't do PocketPC, do they?

Any other Goodlink users out there?? Give us a shout!

Tallyho,
Mike

We are using Good also for about 6 months now and havent had any problems untill now. Have a user that has a Treo 600 Good VER 3.7 Build_1404 rom and he is able to recieve mail but it will no longer synch his calendar or contacts. Any ideas? tried reprovisioning the device several times also. Server is running 3.7 also.

BeerBud - Not sure where your located or what provider your using, but in the Midwest, AT&T has a severe data-overload problem with their GSM network. They oversold the capacity of their network and now Good is suffering from it, or so Good says. We can't use Treo's either since we have the exact same problem you stated. Blackberries on AT&T work, as they are trying to sel us them, but they can't do over-the-air sync of everything like Good. Good's telling us to switch to Sprint, but that's tough to do when your under contract. I did hear that the new Treo 650 doesn't have the issue though, but that is still vapor-ware.

I've had a Goodlink server up for a while, I also have a GoodAccess server... My company is a Good partner as well as a RIM partner, as well as Rogers Silver Certified... I have both a Treo600 and a Blackberry, but only keep the BB with me.

On a more interesting note... this is not an ad, but my company does hosted exchange and we have a few clients who have treo's and blackberry's deployed and the wireless calendar sync, with instant email between the devices is pretty cool. Imagine that... treo's and blackberry's talking effortlessly.

cd.

Anyone using a 650 Treo with the Good Server? I am tempted to load it and see what happens...

I am using the 7100 at the moment with BES. It is v.good. I think this will really be good once the new software comes out. The new version is 4.0 and it should be coming out end of Jan.

I have a Treo 650 with Good, the phone is a improvement over the 600 but gives you less usable memory. Other than that it works great. For Hoffmancorp, if you still have issues with coverage and it is affecting your business, i would push the issue to get it fixed or get out of your contract.

My company has converted from BlackBerry to GoodLink. We've been using GoodLink for over three years. We love GoodLink and have had very few problems with the product. When I do have a problem, their tech support is GREAT!!!! I am supporting over 400 handhelds but only a few dozen of them are Treos. As a support person, I am a very happy camper when it comes to GoodLink. Now if only the other applications that I support would work that well....
