I do, and I am looking to find some information regarding CT Connect with a Lucent S8700. Prior we were using CT Connect to a Lucent G3R.........could anyone help?
It's almost another year gone by on this thread but I thought I'd see who else might be doing their own CTI stuff.
We're in the process of rolling out a power/predictive dialing application using Netmerge. We wanted to utilize the trunking, phones and other resources that our Definity Prologix V9.5 provides and the cheapest retail soft-dialer product we could find was close to $100,000! I'm not the programmer but am interested in learning more about the process. Please chime in on this thread if you are using or planning on using CT-Connect/Netmerge. If anybody knows of another forum dealing with Netmerge users--I'd appreciate knowing that also.
I am starting to create a "screen pop" application.
Platform: G3V11
Components: MAP-D, CTI Server (Avaya products)
Application Server: Win32 OS (would rather have linux)
Language: TSAPI in C++
Use:
strip customer input data.
Pull customer data and perform back end queries on customers service from outside sources (hardware devices - measurements on lines, etc)
Route customer to Desk.
Desk answers, perform screen pop.
Issues:
Hard time getting through to tech support at Avaya to confirm some of their documentation.
Difficulty testing. Would be nice if I had a local tserver and pbx simulator I could run from my local machine.
VDN's are a nightmare!
Summary:
Will post my progress as things continue. If anyone has any docs, notes or CTI info/tips/tricks for G3's... Please feel free to post some links so everyone can learn.
