Anyone use PervassiveSQL inside NW6?

I noticed that this SQL engine when fiddling with a NW6 server the other day. I wanted to know if anyone had any comments on its usefullness or performance?

It's a 2 user SQL version of Btrieve 7, better than Btrieve but built for small business use and the NetWare internal databases. There are a number of accounting, distribution and manufacturing apps that use it.

We recently updgraded from Novell 5 to Novell 6. Additionally, we are running Pervasive 2000 SP2. With the upgrade to Novell 6 we upgraded Pervasive to SP4. However, our clients do not work when upgraded to SP3/4 and we have had to leave te clients at SP2 with the server at SP4.

We are running Novell 6 SP2 on a Dual Xeon Dell Server.

If anyone has had this problem please let me know how you resolved this issue. Running mixed SP's makes me nervous.

Is it the application that you're running along with PervasiveSQL2000 that is requiring your SP to be at SP2? I'm running SP4 on both sides, and it's mandated by the accounting app that we use.
