I'm needing to make my Access database into an executable application for a client. They produce a lot of charts (through "Reports") and I was wondering if the charts would still be available from the executable application. ANY ideas or suggestions would be appreciated greatly!!

Thanks so much!

You cannot create an Access executable. You can however, with the developer kit, distribute a runtime copy of Access with your database. Users will not be allowed to view, create, or modify any tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, or modules.

Sorry about the wording. I know one cannot create an Access executable but with the help of the developer kit, one can distribute a runtime copy of Access with a database. And I was aware that users will not be allowed to view, create, or modify any tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, or modules.

The charts the users get are all generated internally from selections they make on customized forms. Will the runtime copy of Access still work with Microsoft Graph and produce that charts?

Thanks!!

Yes, providing that they have the MSGraph libraries installed. I am not sure what the required libraries are, or what the legalities of distributing MSGraph are, but you should be able to include the libraries in your setup package.
