Hi

I'm using modsecurity to protect my Apache server. The thing is that it blocks requests by my monitoring software so the server always appears as down except that its not.

Can anyone tell me how to allow an exception from IPMonitor so that it can sucessfully detect that the website is being served?

Thanks

modsecurity should have a log file (check your mod sec conf file) telling you what rule match it is blocking IPMonitor with.
Find this rule in your modsecurity conf file - comment it out if you are happy it won't compromise anything else and restart apache.
