hi, we've got a box at work that is having a weird issue. there is an excel spreadsheet that 2-3 people share over the network. usually if one has it open and another tries to open it, the person trying to open the spreadsheet gets a message saying "This is locked by such and such a user would you like to open it read-only". Now, if this one box has it open and someone else tries to open it, instead of seeing the person's username, they see their password.
i have run spybot, ad-aware, hijackthis, ewido, symantec corporate 10 all up to date, and nothing comes up. i tried f-secure's blacklight beta to check for rootkits and nothing came up. any thoughts?

apparently it was an ID-10-T error. we were led to believe this was a new occurrence, but it has been happening for awhile. like, since the user first used office 2003 and entered their password as their username in the office profile setup screens.
thanks anywho
