I am very comfortable creating fairly complex stored procedures in sql 2000 for reporting and jobs, but I have been mostly self-taught. Could anyone recommend a good stored procedure book that can help a person like me update their skills (I might be totally writing them wrong) as well as how to optimize them? We do not own any of the application code and can't really modify the existing tables and indexes so I'm looking for something solely focussed on the creation of the sp itself.
