Anyone knows how to reset password on Netware 6.x?

I forgot the password on a Netware 6.x server and need to reset password to regain access. Does anyone knows how to reset the password on the system?

google a tool called SETPWD.NLM. It will do it. Note that it requires set bindery context= to the location of the user you are resetting the password for. You run this from the server console.

Does this tool work on 6.x? I see this only works on 3.x and 4.x. Or am I wrong...

Yes, I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise. If you can't make that work, you can open a call with Novell and they'll send you a similar tool (or maybe even the same one).

Have a look at

you should find a utility called adminadd, this will create a new administrator that is a trustee of the root. Another good reason to lock or secure your server
