HI just curious to see how I can get the info for the line card used and unused in an option 11c

stat each card and it will tell you if it is being used. or

fastest way in an 11, if your on site is to open the cab. any empty slot can take a dlc, luvu in ld 20 will list all unused ports.. there is a command that will do a whole cab, but i don't opt 11 much.. in a larger switch, you can idcs x on the xpe, and get a list of all cards in a loop

You have several options.
1) If you know what slots the cards are in (you have phyiscal access to the switch) you can stat the card by typing STAT XX in LD 32.
2) You can do a printout of unused voice units in ld 20
LUVU - this will tell you about spare ports on cards that have at least one port programmed.
3) If you cant see the switch you can "IDC" (identify card) to see the part number of the card in a slot- NT8D02 is a digital line card.

ALSO - If you have Digital line cards in slots that have no sets programmed you can add them to the LUVU listing by doing req=new and type=card

do a luc (list unused cards) in ld 20 and it will give you the unused card slots. ldis will give you diabled units, type ldis 0,1,2,3 for the associated cabinet. do them one at a time, also like Ace and John said you can use LUU or LUVU for unused units.
